BroadwayWorld TV te ofrece algunos de los mejores momentos de 'Follies', el musical de Stephen Sondheim, con libreto de James Goldman, dirigido por Mario Gas que comenzó previas el 10 de febrero y se estrenará oficialmente el 23 de febrero en el Teatro Español de Madrid. El público de la capital podrá disfrutar hasta el 8 de abril de este musical, que se hace por primera vez en castellano, protagonizado por Vicky Peña, Muntsa Rius, Pep Molina, Carlos Hipólito y Massiel entre otros.

Ya están ultimándose los ensayos para que todo este listo para este jueves 10 de febrero, fecha en que comenzarán las previas de Follies, el musical de Stephen Sondheim y James Goldman, en el TEATRO ESPAÑOL de Madrid. El estreno oficial será el 23 de febrero. Aquí tenéis algunas imágenes del proceso de preparación de este gran espectáculo.

Two-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein is currently starring in the acclaimed Broadway revival of James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece Follies. Today PS Classics released the new two-disc Broadway cast album of the hit production. In anticipation of the album's release, Burstein visited NPR's 'Fresh Air' to talk with host Terry Gross about playing Buddy Plummer in the iconic musical. Performances began on Sunday, August 7th for James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's Follies, directed by Eric Schaeffer, with choreography by Warren Carlyle and music direction by James Moore. With a 28-piece orchestra, Follies features a cast of 41 and stars two-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters as Sally Durant Plummer, four-time Tony Award nominee Jan Maxwell as Phyllis Rogers Stone, two-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein as Buddy Plummer, three-time Emmy Award nominee Ron Raines as Benjamin Stone and Olivier Award winner Elaine Paige as Carlotta Campion.
