Following The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary during the 2018/2019 Season, producers have unveiled WOB's upcoming 2019/2020 line-up. Known for producing classic musicals, as well as regional and area premieres, Way Off Broadway normally produces five Broadway-style productions each year. With the celebration of the theatre's 25th Anniversary, the company's producers decided to "shake things up a bit" and include a sixth show for the 2019/2020 Season.

CSC has commissioned 2017 Wall Street Journal Playwright of the Year and one of the US' 10 Most Produced Playwrights of the 2018-2019 season, Kate Hamill, to take on Dracula, while Smith Prize for Political Theater and Helen Hayes Award-winning playwright Tearrance Arvelle Chisholm will create a new version of Frankenstein.Popularly known as a pair of macabre fantasies about blood-sucking vampires and man-made monsters, Dracula and Frankenstein illuminate and exorcise some of humanity's most fundamental fears surrounding life, love, and death. The productions will be performed in repertory January-March 2020.

It was the most anticipated night of the year by high school theater programs across the state of Washington: The 17th Annual 5th Avenue Theatre Awards Honoring High School Musicals, proudly sponsored by Wells Fargo with additional support from Alaska Airlines. Presented at The 5th Avenue Theatre, more than 2,000 teenagers, many in costumes representing their schools' musical theater productions, cheered for their peers as they performed musical excerpts and accepted awards honoring top student achievements in musical theater. A preliminary list of performers for Pride Films and Plays annual NOMINEE NIGHT concert has been announced by PFP Artistic Associate Robert Ollis, presenting music director for the event.
