Audiences will have a chance to experience both lesser known classic plays and new works when Bucks County Playhouse launches its Play Discovery Series with a reading of 'The Outgoing Tide' by Philadelphia playwright Bruce Graham on November 14 at 7:30 p.m. Directed by four-time Oscar nominee, Marsha Mason, 'The Outgoing Tide' is the first of several plays that will be part of the series for which Mason also serves as curator.  Additional titles will be announced shortly.

Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its 2018 Fall Benefit, honoring legendary three-time Tony Award winner Bernadette Peters. Peters has been a longtime member of the MTC family, since she co-starred with Christine Baranski in Sally and Marsha, directed by Lynne Meadow in 1982, at which time she joined the MTC Board.

Performances were held in New York at the Westside Theatre on Monday, March 11. and then two days later at Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope on Wednesday, March 13. The reading was the first of three benefit readings that mark the Playhouse's 80th anniversary.

Barefoot in the Park will play July 28 - September 2, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Oh my god, I have literally nothing to say about Les Miz. Well, maybe not nothing... not literally! It's not gonna be hard to throw these out, I'll tell you that much. I have so many freaking Les Miz CDs and they all take up so much space at two--even three--discs a pop. The only one I ever really listened to in its entirety more than a couple of times was the Original London cast anyway.

Tickets to Penobscot Theatre Company's production of the smash hit musical MAMMA MIA will go on sale to the general public, April 22, 2019. The Broadway musical will run from June 13 to July 14 at the historic Bangor Opera House with evening and afternoon performances.
