It took a global pandemic to sideline the world's largest and longest-running annual celebration of The Beatles, but after two long years and several Virtual Fests in between, The Fest For Beatles Fans is back!  The NY Metro Fest takes over the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City for three days of peace & love April 1, 2, 3.  In keeping with the times, this year's Fest will be both in-person AND virtual, making it now possible for everyone to enjoy no matter where they are.

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – MTVarts, a nonprofit, all-volunteer theater company in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is honoring Vietnam veterans this Veterans Day with a special production of “Welcome Home: A Tribute to Vietnam Veterans,” on Nov. 11-12 at Knox Memorial Theater in Mount Vernon. “My main exposure to the Vietnam experience was through the eyes of a 13-year-old boy watching his older brother putting away his high school football and seeing him board a plane in route to Vietnam,” said show director Bruce Jacklin. “There were no emails, texts, or Facetime to keep in touch. Only the evening news offering any peace of mind that your son was not a part of a deadly conflict.”

The Walt Disney Studios has acquired the worldwide distribution rights to acclaimed filmmaker Peter Jackson's previously announced Beatles documentary. The film will showcase the warmth, camaraderie and humor of the making of the legendary band's studio album, a?oeLet It Be,a?? and their final live concert as a group, the iconic rooftop performance on London's Savile Row. a?oeThe Beatles: Get Backa?? will be released by The Walt Disney Studios in the United States and Canada on September 4, 2020, with additional details and dates for the film's global release to follow. The announcement was made earlier today by Robert A. Iger, Executive Chairman, The Walt Disney Company, at Disney's annual meeting of shareholders.
