We've barely welcomed June, and it's already sizzling hot here in Atlanta, so as we all head inside to foster meaningful relationships with our air conditioners, there are really two viable options for leisure time:  fight with randos about Donald Trump on Twitter until you legitimately expect that you might have a stroke or head to the theater for a few blissful hours of phone-free, air-conditioned joy.  Translation:  Go to the theater this summer.  It's good for your health. 

Based on real people aboard the most legendary ship in the world, Titanic The Musical is a stunning and stirring production focusing on the hopes, dreams and aspirations of her passengers who each boarded with stories and personal ambitions of their own. All innocently unaware of the fate awaiting them, the Third Class immigrants dream of a better life in America, the Second Class imagine they too can join the lifestyles of the rich and famous, whilst the millionaire Barons of the First Class anticipate legacies lasting forever.

The 2018 Tony nominees are already winners... literally. For some, this marks their first nomination, but others have already won Tony Awards in seasons past. We took a look at which nominees have won at least a Tony or two (or nine) - amongst them, they've gathered a total of 88 awards!

Single Carrot's 11th season continues with an original LGBTQ+ adaptation of Peter Pan written by Joshua Conkel. Joshua and dramaturg Jolene Noelle will remain in Baltimore for the intensive workshop period through March 12, joining the team from Los Angeles and New York City respectively.

It's 1912, and the world's most famous ocean liner, the RMS Titanic, is ready to set sail at Mercer County Community College's (MCCC's) Kelsey Theatre. Playful Theatre Productions proudly presents "Titanic," the Tony Award-winning musical about the maiden - and only voyage - of the colossal ship that ends in tragedy at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Dates and show times for this Kelsey special event are: Fridays, April 20 and 27 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, April 21 and 28 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, April 22 and 29 at 2 p.m.

Individual tickets for Pittsburgh CLO's 2018 Summer Season will go on sale Friday, April 13 at 9:00am. Variety has reported that Leonardo DiCaprio will star in Quentin Tarantino's currently untitled film about Charles Manson. DiCaprio will portray an aging, out of work actor. Margot Robbie currently being considered for the role of Sharon Tate. Tom Cruise and Al Pacino are also being pursued for the film.

SRO Theatre Company's 2017-2018 season, it's 33rd, continues with Titanic The Musical, Maury Yeston and Peter Stone's stunning musical about the ill-fated ocean liner and its passengers.

The Library of Congress has announced its annual list of the 25 movies it has added to the National Film Registry. The list features title deemed to have cultural, historic and/or aesthetic importance to American heritage.

This week, The OD Company's (Chun soo Shin, CEO) new production of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Titanic opened to rave reviews at the Charlotte Theater in Seoul, South Korea.
