The lavish, new production of Rodger's & Hammerstein's The King & I, starring Sandy Duncan and directed by Baayork Lee, will grace the stage of Boston's Wang Theatre for one week only, when it opens on Tuesday, October 12 and plays through Sunday, October 17, 2004. Press night is scheduled for Wednesday, October 13 at 7:00 PM.

As BroadwayWorld reported last month, the World Premiere of Prince of Broadway, a new musical celebrating the extraordinary six decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince, will play from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theater, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan. Now according to the show's official website, 2015 Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck (On the Town, Gypsy Chicago, A Chourus Line) has joined the company.

Dan Moses Schreier has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Sound Design of a Play for ACT ONE. This is Dan Moses Schreier's fourth Tony nomination. Honeymoon in Vegas, a new musical, will open on Broadway in the spring of 2013 following a premiere engagement this November in Toronto. Based on the Castle Rock Entertainment Motion Picture of the same title, Honeymoon in Vegas features music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown and a book by Andrew Bergman (director and screenwriter of the film). Gary Griffin (The Color Purple) will direct.
