Talented cast knows how to some some laughs.

The iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I has arrived for the FSCJ Artist Series 2018-2019 season. Audience members will hear the classic songs, observe beautiful choreography, and laugh at the great wit of the cast members. The King and I first produced in 1951 has many themes and conflicts that still ring true today. The cast presents these beautifully for audience members to really grab a hold of. Audience members of all ages will be entertained and moved by the performance.

The national tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I, based on the 2015 Tony Award - winning Lincoln Center Theater Production, will make its Milwaukee premiere at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts for eight shows as part of the Associated Bank Broadway at the Marcus Center and Broadway Across America-Milwaukee series. Santa Fe Opera's General Director Charles MacKay and General Director Designate Robert Meya announced today the repertory, principal singers, conductors, directors, and designers for the company's 63rd season in 2019, along with updates to the 2018 season, which opens June 29. Joining MacKay and Meya were Santa Fe Opera Board of Directors President Susan G. Marineau, and Director of Education and Community Programs Andrea Fellows Walters.

Reservoir announces the acquisition of a global stake in the historic catalog of the late American songwriter Hoagy Carmichael. The deals, conducted with Carmichael's heirs, see Reservoir adding nearly 500 Carmichael titles to its multi-genre portfolio, dating as far back as the 1920s.

New York City Ballet's 2018 Spring Season opens on Tuesday, April 24 and will continue for six weeks through June 3. The centerpiece of the Spring Season will be Robbins 100, a celebration of Jerome Robbins, NYCB's co-founding choreographer, whose remarkable contributions to the worlds of ballet and Broadway musical theater have made an indelible impression on both art forms. The three-week celebration will run from May 3 to May 20, featuring 20 works created by Robbins over the course of 40years, as well as two world premiere ballets in tribute to Robbins.
