Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, the second longest-running Broadway musical (only surpassed by Lloyd Webber's own 'The Phantom of the Opera'), and fourth longest-running West End musical, returns in high definition and digital sound to Great Performances where it had its 1998 world television premiere. The special encore presentation will air Friday, November 21 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) as part of the PBS Arts Fall Festival.

Full casting is announced today for Tony Award-winning Broadway musical In The Heights, which returns to London in October following a critically acclaimed sell-out UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse in 2014. The production will transfer to King's Cross Theatre on 3rd October 2015 and is booking for a limited four week period until 1st November 2015.

The Old Globe is expanding San Diego's celebration of the holidays with a world premiere American musical about family, faith, and the magic of Christmas. The Globe is delighted to announce the complete cast and creative team for Looking for Christmas, the new Clint Black Christmas musical, inspired by the country music legend's 1995 chart-topping holiday album. With music and lyrics by Clint Black, book by James D. Sasser with Black, based on an idea by Sasser and Black, music supervision and music direction by Matt Hinkley, and directed by Kent Nicholson, Looking for Christmas is currently running through December 16, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $39.00 and are on sale to the general public now.

Last February, ITV1 and Andrew Lloyd Webber announced a new reality competition show- SUPERSTAR, described as 'a brand new show that will give the British public the chance to choose the country's next major rock star.' The show seeks the new lead in an arena tour of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, to kick of at the O2 Arena in London. Now as the premiere draws near, the first promo for the series has been released. BROADWAY ROX, a new concert event, recently played Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South in Flushing Meadows Corona Park). Produced by Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment, BROADWAY ROX celebrated the rock and pop hits of Broadway including songs from Wicked, Jersey Boys, Rent, The Who's Tommy, Mamma Mia, Spring Awakening, Hair, Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ Superstar and many more. The musical evening featured a 5 piece band with music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Jason Howland (composer of Little Women) and is directed by Rob Evan and Rich Affannato.
