Five choreographers, Artis Smith, Germaine Salsberg, Kevin Predmore, Traci Stanfield and Nicole Ohr, will collaborate with current and graduated Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music composers for a program of new contemporary, modern, and tap dances, performed by 25+ dancers, each dance set to an original composition by a different composer - Yuriy Lehki, Daniel Rote, Jacob Szilagi, and Sean Vigneau-Britt. The program will also feature repertory from Smith and Salsberg ('Full Moon Waxing' and 'Down the Rabbit Hole'). The two 2 performances, Saturday December 2nd at the Brooklyn Music School, is a presentation of Artis Smith and Germaine Salsberg, artistic directors, and The Department of Kinesiology and Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College.

Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for the 26th annual production of A Musical Christmas Carol, December 8-23 at the Byham Theater. Broadway veteran and Pittsburgh CLO alum Patrick Page returns to lead the cast in his second year as Ebenezer Scrooge.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the new Broadway production of J. B. Priestley's Time and the Conways, directed by Tony winner Rebecca Taichman (Indecent). The play returns to Broadway for the first time since its premiere in 1938 and opens officially tonight, October 10, 2017. This is a limited engagement through November 26, 2017 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). Cirque du Soleil will bring Crystal, its 42nd production and first-ever experience on ice, to San Jose's SAP Center from Wednesday, March 28 to Sunday, April 1, 2018. World-class ice skaters and acrobats take their new frozen playground by storm with speed and fluidity as they challenge the laws of gravity with a flurry of unexpected acrobatics. A new kind of performance as Cirque du Soleil meets the ice. This will be the only Northern California engagement of Crystal.

For a community dependent on tourists, Broadway does not like outsiders. So it is no surprise that when in 2013 Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), a large theater owner and producing conglomerate in the UK, paid approximately $60 million for a long-term lease on one of Broadway's largest, but most troubled, venues, the industry took notice.

From a tumultuous earthquake to an exhilarating World's Fair, the quartet pursues the American Dream, despite limited options in the land of opportunity. Directed by TheatreWorks Associate Artistic Director Leslie Martinson, and developed at TheatreWorks' 2016 New Works Festival, the World Premiere ofThe Four Immigrants: An American Musical Manga will be presented July 12-August 6, 2017 (press opening: July 15) at Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. Cirque du Soleil Theatrical's smash production of Cirque du Soleil Paramour, the organization's first created specifically for Broadway begins its final six weeks on Broadway. As previously announced, Paramour is playing through April 16, 2017 at the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).
