Casting was announced today for the HighTide production of Al Smith's debut play Harrogate. Nigel Lindsay joins Sarah Ridgeway, who starred in the original production at HighTide Festival 2015, for the London premiere at the Royal Court Theatre from 20 - 29 October and UK Tour. Richard Twyman, the newly appointed Artistic Director of English Touring Theatre, returns to direct Harrogate, which had an acclaimed sell-out run at the influential annual HighTide Festival in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

The complete cast is Eleanor Bron, Russell Floyd, Sarah Ridgeway and Sargon Yelda. The production, directed by HighTide Festival Theatre's Artistic Director Steven Atkinson, previews from 08 December (press night 11 December) and runs through 16 January 2016 in a co-production between the Bush Theatre and HighTide Festival Theatre.

This summer, Royal & Derngate Northampton and Hackney Empire will co-produce the world premiere of Soul, a new play by Roy Williams about the family life of soul legend Marvin Gaye. It has been officially announced today that Nigel Lindsay will join the West End cast of GUYS AND DOLLS for a limited time, playing Nathan Detroit in the Phoenix Theatre production May 26-June 26. He takes over from Richard Kind, whose last performance is May 22. Lindsay last played the role in the West End run of Michael Grandage's 2005 Donmar Warehouse production.

Sacha Wares will be returning to Almeida Theatre to direct the world premiere of Leo Butler's new play Boy, after her directorial success with the critically acclaimed production, Game, by Mike Bartlett, in 2015.  Boy will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 April until 28 May 2016, with press night on 12 April 2016. Director Sacha Wares is joined by a formidable creative team, including two powerhouse contemporary designers, Miriam Buether for set design (Wild Swans, Sucker Punch, My Child, Generations), who worked with Sacha on Game at the Almeida in 2015, and Ultz for costume (Jerusalem, Hobson's Choice, Fallout, Pied Pier), who will be collaborating with Miriam, on design, for the very first time. Further creative credits include movement by Leon Baugh, lighting by Jack Knowles and sound by Gareth Fry.
