Berkshire Theatre Group (Kate Maguire, Artistic Director/CEO) kicks-off it's milestone 90thAnniversary Season with theprovocative and humorous play Church & State by Jason Odell Williams (Handle With Care). Directed by Charlotte Cohn (founding producer of the New York Music Theatre Festival and Mainstreet Musicals), the four-member cast features Judy Jerome (Two By Tennessee) as Sara Whitmore, Keira Naughton (The Rivals; BTG: I Saw My Neighbor on the Train and I Didn't Even Smile) as Alex Klein, Graham Rowat (Meteor Shower; BTG: Arsenic and Old Lace)as Senator Charles Whitmore, and Andy Talen (The Tempest) as Tom/Marshall/Reporter/Security Guy. Performances begin Thursday, June 14, 2018 for a limited run through Saturday, June 30, 2018 at The Unicorn Theatre, The Larry Viber Stage (6 East Street) in Stockbridge, MA. Opening night is Saturday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m.

The Old Globe, together with Children's Theatre Company (CTC), and in partnership with The Old Vic, today announced details for the Minneapolis and San Diego productions of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax in its U.S. premiere. The production, based on the book The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, is adapted for the stage by David Greig (Artistic Director of the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company; recent work: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Cover My Tracks) with music and lyrics written by Charlie Fink (Frontman/songwriter for the hit musical group, Noah and the Whale (2007-2015). H. Adam Harris, along with Meghan Kreidler and Rick Miller puppeteering, will play The Lorax. Joining them is Steven Epp as The Once-ler. Playing multiple roles in the ensemble are Ansa Akyea, Christopher Becknell, Stephanie Bertumen, Brian Bose, Ryan Colbert, Lynnea Doublette, Johannah "Joh" Easley, Rajane Katurah, Ryan Lear, Ryan Dean Maltz, Emily Michaels King, and Autumn Ness.

The Old Globe's 2017-2018 Season continues with today's announcement of the complete cast and creative team for the Globe-commissioned world premiere of Anna Ziegler's new American play The Wanderers, directed by Barry Edelstein, the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director. The Wanderers will run April 6 - May 6, 2018 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale to the general public now. Previews run April 6-12. Opening night is Friday, April 13 at 8:00 p.m.

SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE Returns To New York This Summer

The original producers of Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, Broadway's longest running musical revue, announced today that the show will return to New York this summer following a limited engagement at Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse. Preview performances will begin at New York's Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street) on July 6 and opening night is set for July 22. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 12 through telecharge.com and the box office will open on June 25. Casting is to be announced.
