These will be in addition to the four upcoming shows that are currently on sale: Grammy Award-winning musician Chris Thile (Nov. 12), new gods of Irish music Lúnasa (Dec. 11), international sensation STOMP (Feb 1-6), and classical pop mashup masters The Piano Guys (May 14). All shows will be at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts.

Following the storyline of Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden, The Secret Garden Experience starts when a 'Secret Box' arrives in the post. Each box contains eight envelopes with eight unique audio episodes and accompanying activities.

Wizard Presents is creating 2,000 special Secret Garden boxes filled with surprises, activities and the well-loved story of 10 year old Mary Lennox leaving India and coming to the UK to live with her uncle on the Yorkshire moors.

NAATCO, today announced that the company has commissioned five Asian American playwrights, all women, to write monologues for characters no younger than 60-years-old. Each monologue will be at least 30 minutes long, and all five will be performed together as a piece entitled Out of Time.

Netflix announces new episodes of Song Exploder, a documentary series based off the acclaimed podcast of the same name by host and executive producer Hrishikesh Hirway, to premiere globally December 15, 2020. 

Leah Ryan's Fund For Emerging Women Writers celebrates ten years of awarding it's prize to women playwrights with 10 X 10: An Evening of 10 Minute Plays Celebrating Ten Years of Winners. The Theatre Company presents its inaugural production, The Moors by Jen Silverman, March 18-April 11. Founded with the intention of transforming found spaces with bold, theatrical endeavors, The Theatre Company has chosen Copeland Commons at Taborspace in the heart of SE Portland's Mt. Tabor neighborhood as their non-traditional performance venue. While Copeland Commons has hosted small scale concerts and other arts events in the past, TTC's production of The Moors marks the first time a professional theatre company has staged a multi-week residency in the space. Co-Artistic Directors Jen Rowe and Brandon Woolley chose the venue specifically for its connection to the community and the story being told.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director/CEO) has announced the ninth annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series, a five-night event that includes nightly readings of new works written and directed by emerging artists, as well as post-show receptions. The Reading Series will feature new works by Benjamin Benne, Majkin Holmquist, Shayan Lotfi, Nick Mecikalski and Harrison David Rivers.

Back by popular demand, this family-friendly, holiday classic returns to the Portland Stage 's Mainstage after its 2017 opening.
