I'LL SAY SHE IS is a revue in which the Marx Brothers attempt to thrill and amuse a wealthy heiress in search of excitement. Their resulting adventures, in a riotous series of comedy sketches and musical numbers, take them to Wall Street, Times Square, a Chinatown opium den, and even Napoleon's palace.
I'LL SAY SHE IS established the Marx Brothers as one of the greatest comedy acts of all time. However, unlike their later stage musicals The Cocoanuts and Animal Crackers, I'll Say She Is was never adapted for film, or revived on stage. The show was lost to history, until writer, performer, and Groucho Marxist Noah Diamond spent six years researching, restoring, and adapting it. Diamond's new book Gimme a Thrill: The Story of I'll Say She Is, the Lost Marx Brothers Musical, and How it Was Found has just been released by BearManor Media.
The season is a celebration of the revival of the most glorious and notorious of the 'girlie revues' in Coney Island history and features some of the very best of burlesque and variety performers from the New York scene, including The Maine Attraction, Fem Appeal, Gigi Bonbon, Pinkie Special, Bambi the Mermaid and Deity Delgado.

Early in her career Deborah Stone used her body as a dancer in demand and left her voice to its own devices. Now, the singing actress from The Snarks has found that her voice works just as well when set to music as it does when reciting dialogue, and the cabaret community has taken to that voice like a toddler to an ice cream cake.
The petite diva with the powerful voice and everything else is stepping out onto the 54 Below stage without her partner in crime and life, and the fans couldn't grab the tickets up fast enough. She is Orfeh. Hear her Roar.
Gloria Swansong is a drag artist with a focus on the goddesses of the Thirties, Forties, and Fifties. Fellow drag performer Maxie Factor's focus is almost exclusively the divas of the Sixties. BroadwayWorld recently spoke with Mehta while she was spending some time in Mumbai before heading back to her current home base in New York. To say that she has led an atypical life would be an understatement. An ardent feminist from a very young age in Mumbai, she became an actress and radio host in her teens before coming to America to get her doctorate Molecular & Cellular Biology and work in cancer research at Sloan Kettering. In recent years, she has returned to her true passion of theater with a focus on telling stories we haven’t heard before. In a wide-ranging conversation, we talked about the genesis of HONOUR, her unorthodox career path, and the current status of South Asian representation in the arts.
