On October 25th, around 6:30 p.m., Ramon Aspeitia was stabbed on his way home from work at his bus transfer in White Center. A hard-working and well-loved employee of both Shadowland and Ma'Ono, two restaurants in the Alaska Junction area of West Seattle, Ramon was brutally attacked by three assailants and is currently paralyzed from the waist down. ArtsWest is seeking to do its part to contribute to the recovery of their West Seattle neighbor.

Four busboys at an upper west side Manhattan French restaurant learn the hard way when a slow summer season leads to harsh pay cuts, jeopardizing their plans, their dignity and their camaraderie.

Just beyond the elegant dining room of an Upper East Side restaurant, four busboys angle for shifts, pray for tips, and cling to dreams of life beyond their dingy back-of-house grind. Expertly juggling delicate entrees, fussy customers and beer-swilling line cooks, the young men face off with management and each other. As tensions reach a boiling point, how far will each of them go to see his own mañana come?

The Playwrights Realm has announced the expansion of programming to include two productions as part of the 2014-2015 season. The first production will be the world premiere of MY MAÑANA COMES by next season's Page One Playwright Elizabeth Irwin, running August 26 - September 20, 2014 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The inaugural Alumni Production will be the world premiere of CITY OF by Alumni Page One Playwright Anton Dudley, running January - February TBD, 2015 at a venue TBA. In an effort to further support and advance the careers of its playwrights, the Alumni Production will allow The Realm to produce new work by its growing contingency of Alumni Playwrights. The two productions were announced at the theatre company's seventh annual 'Writers Block Party' on Monday, April 7, 2014.
