SCHOOL OF ROCK's Brandon Niederauer Set for 'Teen Mash Mob' in NYC Today

A flash mob of more than 100 teens will be playing guitar and singing in celebration of the power of music as part of Guitar Mash's Teen Mash Mob at Richard Tucker Square (66th Street between Columbus Ave and Broadway) today, May 13 at 5:30 p.m. Featured among them will be guest guitarist Brandon Niederauer, who plays 'Zack' in Broadway's SCHOOL OF ROCK.

Denise Rich, co-founder of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research, and singer Chloe Jane co-hosted a fundraising event last night with SCHOOL OF ROCK: THE MUSICAL on Broadway. Cancer survivors and their families joined supporters of the Foundation to enjoy a pre-show reception at The Palm in Times Square, followed by attending a performance of the show and post-show talkback with the kids who star in the show and actress Mamie Parris from the cast. To give viewers a taste of that experience, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Steam Motion and Sound UK created Broadway's first 360° video for YouTube. Supported on both Facebook and Youtube, the video gave the viewer agency, allowing you to navigate all angles of the classroom for an exciting and interactive experience of the song 'You're in the Band.'
