Chart-topping vocalist Jackie Evancho will perform music from her album Carousel of Time featuring songs by Joni Mitchell on Sunday October 16 at City Winery Boston. Evancho will take her audience on a musical panegyric from Joni's earliest classics “Both Sides Now” to her iconic 1971 hits, “A Case of You” and “Blue” to her enduring all season standard, “River.”
In support of her new album, Jackie Evancho: Carousel of Time, honoring the timeless music of Joni Mitchell, Jackie Evancho will perform a select number of shows dedicated to the music from the album.
Evancho has been working on a musical panegyric of Joni Mitchell for some time. Closures from the pandemic led to the album's delay. Jackie Evancho - Carousel of Time, will be released late summer of this year, with at least 2 more singles slated for release on digital streaming platforms ahead of the full-length album.
