BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Sadie Sink and Brooklyn Shuck have joined the cast of Annie at the Palace Theatre as standbys for sevral of the orphans. Sink will be the standby for Annie, Tessie, Duffy, July and Kate, and Shuck for Molly, Kate, Tessie, July and Duffy.

American Airlines is the official airline of the new critically acclaimed new production of the Tony Award-winning musical Annie. Cast members from the production performed a selection of songs from the show at Terminal 8 at John F. Later this month on Thursday, January 24, Broadway's Palace Theatre will be visited by thousands of NYC public school students as the Great White Way's leading arts education not-for-profit Inside Broadway partners with the Broadway revival of Annie to offer two exclusive ‘Creating the Magic' events. Taking place at 10:45am and 1:15pm, the programs are being presented for free to over 2,500 New York City public school students as they get a behind the scenes look at the magical world of Broadway and learn about all the career opportunities in the theater.

A production spokesperson tells us Lilla Crawford 'suffered a minor injury to her foot while on stage at the December 12 matinee performance of Annie.' She is expected to return to the production next week. Understudy Taylor Richardson will take over the role in her absence.
