BroadwayWorld has confirmed that WAR HORSE, which just opened at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre last week, is gearing up for a national tour, as well as a separate sit-down Toronto production. While details on the tour have not yet been announced, the show will play Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre from June 13 - July 22, 2012. The Toronto production is set to open in February of 2012.

The upcoming season finale of the hit Fox comedy 'Glee' will feature scenes filmed on the stage of the Broadway blockbuster musical, WICKED.

The National Theatre's epic WAR HORSE, now a five-time Tony® Award nominee currently playing at Lincoln Center Theater and in the West End in London, will embark on a national tour in June 2012, bringing the hit play to 20 U.S. cities during the 2012-2013 season. Yesterday the horse puppets from 'War Horse' opened Lincoln Center's Illumination Lawn for the summer season. The horse puppets dazzled onlookers on the Lawn, which is a double-twisted green space that forms the roof of one of Lincoln Center's newest buildings.
