After reopening its Brooklyn waterfront theater last fall, St. Ann’s Warehouse is launching its second post-shutdown season with a continuation of large-scale outdoor performance and public art presentations that address urgent humanitarian issues.

'Aunt Susan and Her Tennessee Waltz' by Toby Armour will be presented by Theater for the New City (TNC) April 28 to May 15.  The play dramatizes the leadership of Susan B. Anthony, Carrie Chapman Catt and Juno Frankie Pearce in the struggle to win the women's right to vote.

Following its tremendously successful run four years ago in Santa Monica, One Way Ticket to Oregon will remount at The Blue Door in Culver City, CA. Written by BC Caldwell, One Way Ticket to Oregon wrestles with topics of mortality, faith and the limited options when it comes to “dying with dignity”.

The Italian hardcore five-piece LOCKED IN returns after a 7-year hiatus with a new EP called “Not Dead Yet.” The band has teamed up with Epidemic Records, which is taking care of this digital release as well as another EP to be released in 2021.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 40 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2020 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. “I think early on as a band, we were trying to be one thing - a punk and ska band,” says Glenn Stewart, drummer for Clearwater, FL's punk band VICTIMS OF CIRCUMSTANCE (VOC). “When it came time to write the fifth album, we didn't want to do that. There wasn't any specific direction.  In the end, we all feel like we've achieved a bigger, more mature sound that still has that great VOC flavor.”

The North Wall today announce the full programme for Alchymy Festival 2019, running from 12-14 April at The North Wall Arts Centre. The programme includes performances, industry events, work-in-progress showings, and workshops, as well as performances from winners of the inaugural Alchymy Company Award and Alchymy Writing Residencies. The festival was programmed by The North Wall co-directors John Hoggarth and Ria Parry, and producer Ellie Keel, and is supported by Arts Council England.

The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today unveiled its feature film lineup. Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.
