The Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre (AVENUE Q and [title of show]) will open its 2009-10 season with the Off-Broadway premiere of A BOY AND HIS SOUL -- a new play written and performed by Colman Domingo (PASSING STRANGE, Logo Network's 'The Big Gay Sketch Show') set to begin previews September 9, prior to officially opening on September 24 at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) in Manhattan.

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Anders Lustgarten's Black Jesus receives its world premiere at the Finborough Theatre, playing for a four week season from Tuesday, 1 October 2013 (Press Night: Thursday, 3 October 2013 at 7.30pm). A sold-out workshop production of Black Jesus at the Harare International Festival of Arts, Zimbabwe, was described by the Guardian as 'a highlight of the festival'.

Wolfe, who directed the show's sold-out Broadway engagement last season, mounts the professional D.C.-area premiere of this production, which features returning Broadway cast members Patrick Breen and Luke MacFarlane, among others.
