This May, INK Festival is going on the road and taking the best of East Anglia's short plays to London in Feast from the East, with contributions from such writing superstars as Richard Curtis and his daughter Scarlett.  INK is a vital platform for regional writing which celebrates the short play artform, and its London residency seeks to bring their work to a wider audience.

Bada Bing! The 17th Annual Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) is THRILLED to announce that it has added a FIFTH DAY this year and is presenting a SPECIAL SCREENING of the EAST COAST FILM FESTIVAL PREMIERE of MY DINNER WITH ALAN: A SOPRANOS SESSION, with Freeholder Director Tom Arnone acting as host for the evening on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m.at the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove. The timing of this exciting event is serendipitous, as fans worldwide are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of THE SOPRANOS television premiere (the first episode aired in January 1999, and life has never been the same). The Garden State Film Festival is especially proud to be able to screen this fabulous film in Tony Soprano's home state. GSFF is scheduled to screen over 245 independent films from around the globe at multiple venues in Asbury Park, March 27-31st, 2019.

The performance by jazz pianist Hiromi, originally scheduled for April 11, 2019 at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, has been postponed until October 12, 2019. Due to pregnancy and her doctor's advice, Hiromi has canceled all upcoming performances.

Raleigh, NC-based quartet Chatham County Line will hit the road in support of their eighth studio album, Sharing The Covers, out March 8 on Yep Roc Records. The 23-city tour begins February 9, and includes stops along the East Coast, dates with Steve Martin and Martin Short, as well as two days at the annual Merlefest in Wilkesboro, NC.

According to New York Times writer Sopan Deb on Twitter, UCB will close its East Village location, a month after it had announced several layoffs.

The sensational feel-good musical MAMMA MIA! will return to Edinburgh Playhouse from Thursday 19 - Saturday 28 September, to open a UK Tour celebrating 20 years since MAMMA MIA! premiered in London in April 1999.

The evening's program will feature Richard Strauss's Don Quixote-with violist Miriam Manasherov and cellist Kian Soltani stepping forward from the orchestra as soloists-as well as Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5. This performance-Carnegie Hall's Annual Isaac Stern Memorial Concert-will be broadcast live on WQXR 105.9 FM.

After nearly 20 years since the show premiered in London's West End in 1999, MAMMA MIA!, the 'Mother of All Jukebox Musicals,' triumphantly opens (and remains a crowd-pleaser) at The Theatre at Solaire in Paranaque City. The show, in a limited engagement, runs now through October 21, 2018.
