The production, today, September 30-October 26, reunites the playwright with director Leah C. Gardiner, who worked together on the OBIE Award-winning 2011 production of born bad. generations features a 12-person community chorus led by music director Bongi Duma (The Lion King). The cast includes Shyko Amos (An Octoroon), Mamoudou Athie, Khail Toi Bryant (The Lion King), Ntombikhona Dlamini (Sarafina!), Thuli Dumakude (The Lion King, Poppie Nongena), Jonathan Peck (The Lion in Winter) and Michael Rogers (born bad, Breakfast With Mugabe).

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Mamoudou Athie, Diane Lane, Gayle Rankin, and Tony Shalhoub will be featured in its upcoming production of THE MYSTERY OF LOVE AND SEX, a new play by Bathsheba Doran. The production, which will be directed by Sam Gold, will begin previews Thursday, February 5 and open on Monday, March 2 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Raven Theatre Company to produce Richard Kalinoski's universally celebrated Beast on the Moon CHICAGO - The final play of Raven's 2014-15 season will be Richard Kalinoski's Beast on the Moon, a touching and frequently humorous story of two refugees from the Armenian Genocide as they struggle to build a new life together in 1920's and 1930's Milwaukee. Beast on the Moon begins previews on April 21 and opens on April 27, 2015, playing through June 6.

The 26th annual Free Theatre outdoor production of the Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2013 season is Dracula, or the Un-Dead. Tangent Theatre Company, based in the intimate Carpenter Shop Theater in Tivoli's village center, announces a fifth week of performances for their Spring 2015 production: the contemporary moral drama Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan. The play will now run through Sunday, May 3. Set in a Manhattan apartment building lobby, the story examines the shades of grey between right and wrong, and centers on the main character, Jeff, the building's security guard, and three other diverse characters, including Jeff's supervisor William and two New York City police officers (Bill and Dawn). Remaining performances of Lobby Hero are Thursdays - Saturdays 8pm; Sundays 3pm.
