The 2019 Tony nominees are already winners... literally. For some, this marks their first nomination, but others have already won Tony Awards in seasons past. We took a look at which nominees have won at least a Tony or two (or nine) - amongst them, they've gathered a total of 69 awards!

Berkeley Repertory Theatre congratulates three productions that were honored with over 20 nominations in today's 2019 Tony Award announcement.  Two of the shows were part of Berkeley Rep's 2017-18 season: the world premiere of Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of The Temptations and the West Coast premiere of What the Constitution Means to Me.  The third show, Hadestown, was developed through The Ground Floor: Berkeley Rep's Center for the Creation and Development of New Work in 2015.

Transport Group has announced that its annual A Toast to the Artist gala will honor Tony Award-winning orchestrator Michael Starboin and composer Carmel Dean with the Transporting American Theatre Award. The evening takes place Monday, March 11 at 6:30pm at The Current, Pier 59 @ Chelsea Piers, and includes a cocktail party, seated dinner, performances, dessert reception, and silent and live auctions. The Transporting American Theatre Award recognizes significant contributions to the American Theatre. Transport Group has announced that casting for The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, written by Daniel Berrigan and directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III, includes Mia Katigbak (Awake and Sing!, I Remember Mama), Eunice Wong (Mourning Becomes Electra, Smart People) and David Huynh (Henry VI, A Midsummer Night's Dream). The Trial of the Catonsville Nine runs Wednesday, January 16 through Sunday, February 23, 2019 at the Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street. The opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6 at 7:30pm.

The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. After an absence of five years and under the auspices of the Cherry Orchard Festival, Israel's acclaimed Gesher Theatre returns to New York in early October with its two leading productions The Dybbuk and In the Tunnel. On Today, October 2, just prior to the performances, Gesher Artistic Director Yevgeny Arye and company members invite the public to join them for a free screening on the making of Dibukim, a 60-minute film by Ram Loevy, winner of the honorable mention at the Haifa International Film Festival, which documents the production process of The Dybbuk and follows the creative team and actors during rehearsals. The screening will be followed by a 30-minute question and answer session with Yevgeny Arye and members of the company. This film is in Hebrew with English subtitles. More info & trailer.

American Blues Theater announces encore performance run of BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story, written by Alan Janes, directed by Lili-Anne Brown, with musical direction by Ensemble Member Michael Mahler. BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story will close as planned on May 26, 2018 and reopen June 29 - September 15, 2018 at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago. Tickets will be on sale for the encore run on May 15, 2018.

Lookingglass Theatre Company, Court Theatre and Manual Cinema, Lifeline Theatre, and Remy Bumppo Theatre Company announce FRANKENSTEIN: Unearthed, a one-time-only event exploring the four productions of this classic tale coming to Chicago stages during the 2018-2019 season. Transport Group has announced casting for its world premiere musical, Renascence, which begins performances Friday, October 5 at 7:30pm, at the Abrons Arts Center, 466 Grand Street. Renascence has music by Carmel Dean (musical director If/Then, American Idiot), book by Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Everyday Rapture), and lyrics from the poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay. The musical is directed by artistic director Jack Cummings III and Dick Scanlan. The opening is set for Thursday, October 25 at 7:30pm.

Freeform announces its programming schedule for August 2018, which includes the season two premiere of the Freeform comedy “Alone Together” and the summer finales of the critically acclaimed series “Marvel's Cloak & Dagger” and “The Bold Type.”

Maria Shclover and Irina Shabshis, Cherry Orchard Festival co-founders and producers, today announced Israel's celebrated Gesher Theatre will return to New York City in early October with its two leading productions The Dybbuk and In the Tunnel at The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 West 59 Street).  Founded in 1991 in Tel Aviv by director Yevgeny Arye, these Gesher Theatre productions are being presented as part of a North American tour, which includes performances in Toronto and Pittsburgh. Performances are October 3 and 4 for The Dybbuk and October 6 and 7 for In the Tunnel.

Renascence will run October 5 - November 17, 2018 and The Trial of the Catonsville Nine will run January 16 - February 23, 2019.
