Broadway in Chicago is delighted to announce the internationally-acclaimed hit theatre show THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY is extended through December 8. Additional tickets will go on sale at 10 AM CT on Friday, October 11. THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY will play at Broadway In Chicago's Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) November 19 through December 8, 2019.

Today, D23, the official Disney fan club, has announced the eleven recipients for the 2019 Disney Legends Award. This year's recipients are Bette Midler, Wing Chao, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Favreau, James Earl Jones, Kenny Ortega, Barnette Ricci, Robin Roberts, Diane Sawyer, Ming-Na Wen, and Hans Zimmer. 

The Cleveland Orchestra Announces 2019-20 Season

The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-M st announced details of their 2019-2020 season which encompasses 76 concerts over 26 weeks. One significant highlight includes a festival designed to explore music and art that was banned, marginalized, and destroyed during the Nazi's Degenerate Art movement, and the continuing impact of censorship on creative expression in society today. The festival will center on Alban Berg's Lulu, one of the 20th century's most influential operas, and includes partner programming with the area's notable arts institutions.

Billboard journalist Tom Roland was presented with the 2018 CMA Media Achievement Award backstage Wednesday, Nov. 14 during “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards” at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Country Music Hall of Fame member and three-time CMA Awards winner Bill Anderson addressed journalists during the CMA Awards press conference, surprising Roland with the honor. 

THE SIMON & GARFUNKEL STORY Comes To Overture Center

The internationally-acclaimed hit theater show The Simon & Garfunkel Story will stop by the Capitol Theater at Overture Center for the Arts on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 and 8 p.m. during the 35-city U.S. tour. The immersive concert-style theater show chronicles the amazing journey shared by the folk-rock duo, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. It tells the story from their humble beginnings as Tom & Jerry to their incredible success as one of the best-selling music groups of the '60s to their dramatic split in 1970. It culminates with the famous "The Concert in Central Park" reunion in 1981 with more than half a million fans in attendance.

Right Angle Entertainment announced today the hiring of Jim Lanahan as Vice President. He will be based in the Los Angeles offices handling touring show general management, marketing and operations for the company. He joins Right Angle Entertainment with a long history of working with Broadway and the road's biggest producers and productions including Disney Theatrical Productions, Really Useful Group and Blue Man Productions. Additionally, John Poland and Elissa E. Szieff have joined the executive team as Director of Touring, and Chief Financial Officer, respectively. Poland will be in charge of tour coordination and Szieff will handle all company business management and accounting. Carla Marie Rugg continues on as Associate Producer, and Cliff Kellas remains in his role as General Manager.
