Peculiar Works Revives CAN YOU HEAR THEIR VOICES?, Opens 6/6

Peculiar Works Project (the OBIE Award-winning company founded in 1993; Co-Artistic Directors Ralph Lewis, Catherine Porter, and Barry Rowell), will present a revival of the Depression Era play 'CAN YOU HEAR THEIR VOICES? (A Play of Our Time)' by Hallie Flanagan and Margaret Ellen Clifford.

The late Lynn Redgrave has a ball singing Ira Gershwin and Kurt Weill's 'The Saga of Jenny' from Lady in the Dark. This video is taken from a PBS special called 'Musical Comedy Tonight 2,' the second of 3 specials put together by Sylvia Fine Kaye and featuring selections from classic musicals. Reprising the number with her are Danny Kaye and Richard Crenna. The special aired February 11, 1981.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of Lynn Redgrave, who died yesterday at age 67. The marquees of Broadway theatres in New York will be dimmed in her memory on Tuesday, May 4th, at exactly 7:00pm for one minute.

Actress Lynn Redgrave has passed away at the age of 67 according to her publicist, Rick Miramontez. Redgrave, who had battled breast cancer, died Sunday night in her apartment at the age of 67.
