Fox Theatre Presents Former President Bill Clinton in Conversation, Tickets On Sale 6/13

The Fox Theatre presents, President Bill Clinton at the Cobb Energy Centre on Wednesday, June 13 at 7:30 p.m. for a wide-ranging conversation as he discusses his forthcoming novel, The President is Missing (on-sale June 4). The event is a part of a book tour in connection with the publication of The President is Missing. President Clinton will travel across North America, during which he will offer candid insights into the process and research of the novel, as well the timely and alarming issues it raises about the world.

The centennial of renowned American composer Leonard Bernstein is celebrated throughout the National Philharmonic's 2018-2019 concert series at The Music Center at Strathmore. Performing compositions that influenced Bernstein, as well as some of his very own famous works, the National Philharmonic will be the only symphony orchestra dedicating most of its 2018-2019 season to the works surrounding the legendary composer.

The Old Globe, together with Children's Theatre Company (CTC), and in partnership with The Old Vic, today announced details for the Minneapolis and San Diego productions of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax in its U.S. premiere. The production, based on the book The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, is adapted for the stage by David Greig (Artistic Director of the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company; recent work: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Cover My Tracks) with music and lyrics written by Charlie Fink (Frontman/songwriter for the hit musical group, Noah and the Whale (2007-2015). H. Adam Harris, along with Meghan Kreidler and Rick Miller puppeteering, will play The Lorax. Joining them is Steven Epp as The Once-ler. Playing multiple roles in the ensemble are Ansa Akyea, Christopher Becknell, Stephanie Bertumen, Brian Bose, Ryan Colbert, Lynnea Doublette, Johannah "Joh" Easley, Rajane Katurah, Ryan Lear, Ryan Dean Maltz, Emily Michaels King, and Autumn Ness.

The Fox Theatre and Cobb Energy Centre are excited to announce Atlanta's much heralded Spelman College Glee Club will be joining Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) for two live performances on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23. Supporting DTH for the first time with a live backing vocal performance, the Glee Club's seventy-five (75) acclaimed singers will accompany "Change" choreographed by Dianne McIntyre, a former Spelman College Distinguished Visiting Scholar. The group will be performing Two Negro Spirituals: 'By and By' arranged by Roland Allison and 'Don't You Let Nobody Turn You Around' arranged by Dr. Kevin Johnson, director of Spelman College Glee Club both nights.
