Discovery Releases SHARK WEEK 30th Anniversary Schedule

SHARK WEEK, television's longest-running event takes a bite out of summer for its 30th anniversary, premiering Sunday July 22 at 7:00PM ET/PT and continuing through Sunday, July 29. Rising Sun Performance To Premiere ELEPHANT At Planet Connections

Rising Sun Performance Company (RSP) returns to the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity (PCTF) for the fifth consecutive year, with the World Premiere of ELEPHANT, written by Eva MeiLing Pollitt. The production is co-directed by RSP Artistic Director, Akia Squitieri, and Associate Artistic Director, Anna Hogan. ELEPHANT runs for at the 10th annual Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. The Festival will take place July 11th through August 5th at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center.

London's Dirty Water Records, together along Metronomo Management (Lisbon), Peer Music and Alter-K Records (Paris) and in cooperation with Sony Music/Jive Epic, are pleased to announce the US and UK album release of 'Misfit' by European blues-punk sensation, The Legendary Tigerman (A.K.A. Paulo Furtado). 'Misfit' will be released on Dirty Water Records in the US and UK territories on August 24th, 2018 and will feature limited edition white coloured 12' vinyl coupled with four exclusive and unreleased bonus tracks entitled 'Misfit Ballads EP'.

Rising Sun Performance Co Announces World Premiere of THE GOLDEN DOVE

Founding Artistic Director, Akia Squitieri announced today that Rising Sun Performance Company has been granted a full season residency on Governors Island for their 2018 Season. Their first production on the Island will be the world premiere of "The Golden Dove" by Laura Hirschberg, a new play for Young Audiences and Family friendly for all ages. The production will run weekly June through October 2018

THE SHAPE OF THINGS, Eagle Theatre's latest production, opens Friday, September 15th. This razor-sharp dramedy premiered in London, England at the Almedia Theatre in May 2001.
