Cygnet Theatre Presents a Titillating Take on CABARET 3/17-5/15

Despite the recent cold weather outside, inside Cygnet Theatre the heat is rising with the steamy world of the Kit Kat Klub in Kander and Ebb's CABARET. Rehearsals are underway with Artistic Director Sean Murray at the helm, Billy Thompson as Music Director and David Brannen as Choreographer.

Civic Theatre of Allentown Holds CABARET Auditions 2/28

Civic Theatre of Allentown will hold auditions for its May 2011 production of Kander & Ebb's iconic musical 'Cabaret' at 7 pm on Monday, February 28, 2011. Auditions will be in the rehearsal hall above Civic's Nineteenth Street Theatre at 527 N 19th Street in Allentown. If necessary, callbacks will be held on Tuesday, February 29, 2011. Alternate audition times will not be available.

The Boca Raton Theatre Guild will continue its extremely successful season with John Kander and Fred Ebb's classic musical, Cabaret. The Guild's recent production of Neil Simon's Broadway Bound consistently filled the Willow Theatre at Sugar Sand Park to capacity throughout its run. Cabaret will run from February 25th through March 13th.

Reprise Theatre Company's 2011-2012 season features two classic American musicals at UCLA's Freud Playhouse - "Cabaret" (September 13 to September 25, 2011), based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, Broadway production directed by Harold Prince; "The Baker's Wife" (February 14 to 26, 2012), with book by Joseph Stein and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, based on the film 'La Femme de Boulanger' by Marcel Pagnol and Jean Giono; and a third production to be announced, which will play April 17 to 29, 2012.
