Returning to King's Head Theatre by popular demand, JEWa??ish is a romcom revolving around the tempestuous and obstacle-ridden relationship of Max, who is Jewish, and TJ, who isn't. Continuing their situationship is not as easy as when they were part of the university's Polyamory Society, alongside two millennia of inherited trauma on top of two decades of millennial stereotypes, maybe there's too much of a cultural divide? Even couples counselling does not seem to help untangle them from this complex co-dependency. But they do really love each other (occasionally). As they struggle with their careers in the arts, with Max's overbearing family, and with each other, the two 'frenemies' try to navigate their differences and unwillingly make a go of it.

More than a vast departure from The Frogs previous works, it's an arrival at the beginning. It's the “1st” original debut album. Recorded within the realms of time stamped January 1986, presents 12 songs & 8 unreleased bonus tracks. Understanding correctly, “1st” aka “Pat's Session” was intended to be the initial release by brothers Dennis & Jimmy Flemion prior to “The Frogs” 1988 self-titled debut. Minneapolis based Twin/Tone Records (Soul Asylum, The Replacements label at the time) approached The Frogs & expressed fawning interest, extending an invitation to record the band after their 1985, 7th Street Entry live performance (First Avenue's sister club).

Today Amsterdamn's The Mauskovic Dance Band announce their forthcoming EP Shadance Hall, which will be their first release of 2020 and their debut on Dekmantel Records, out March 30th. On Shadance Hall, they concoct a tantalising brew of no-wave, psych rock, cumbia, power dub and numerous other colourful shades of global grooves. Zorro The Musical reveals a first look at the cast in action as rehearsal images for the new immersive production are released today. The production features music by The Gipsy Kings and the evening will start with live entertainment and a Flamenco party in the foyer of Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre before the story continues in the auditorium itself, bringing the legendary adventure of the masked hero to life. Zorro the Musical is directed by Christian Durham and runs from 14 March – 18 April 2020, with opening night on 18 March.
