Yuka Kawazu's Danse En L'Air brings Alfonsina, an evening of original dance works, to Ballet Arts at New York City Center (130 W 56 Street, Floor 6) on Saturday, November 23 at 7:30pm. The program offers a mix of solos, duets, and ensemble pieces choreographed by Kawazu and enhanced by digital projections of artwork by Meeke Mutter and Andrea Shapiro. The evening of dance also features live music from talented young singers Felipe Beltran, Luis Rojas and Hiroko Yonekura.

In preparation for presenting the 2019 Pulitzer Winner Fairview, Trustus Theatre is partnering with Coker College to revive their stirring production of We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Hero of Namibia, Formerly Known as South West Africa, From the German Südwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915a?"an earlier work by Fairview playwright Jackie Sibblies Drury. This limited run production will be presented by Coker College and will be on Trustus Theatre's Side Door Theatre stage January 16-18, 2020. The play is directed by KK Raina.

The subtle scent of daffodils filled the theatre as the audience was welcomed with a beautiful scene that looked like it was straight of a fairytale. The floor of the deck opened slightly to reveal a space filled with bright, vibrant yellow flowers. 'Daffodils' and 'fairytale' are the two keywords that could be used to describe the wonderful and fantastic musical, BIG FISH. The Korean premiere of BIG FISH had its first show on December 4th, 2019 at the LG Art Center.

Skylight Music Theatre today announced the cast and creative team for Ruddigore, or The Witch's Curse, presented January 3-19, 2020 in collaboration with Milwaukee Opera Theatre. Skylight celebrates its long history of producing the works of W.S. Gilbert (book and lyrics) and Arthur Sullivan (music) with an imaginatively reinvigorated production of this classic gothic operetta. Ruddigore will be performed in a special, limited run in the Studio Theatre at the Broadway Theatre Center, 158 N. Broadway, in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward.
