With its current offering Widowers' Houses, WSG gives area theatregoers a chance to see a lesser known work by esteemed playwright George Bernard Shaw. While this script is not a center piece of Shaw's canon (a la Pygmalion or Heartbreak House) WSG, true to form, delivers a high-end production of it featuring a top-notch group of performers.

Antic Face and Nik Holttum Productions today announce casting for the UK premi re of award-winning American playwright Jen Silverman's play Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties. Nina Wadia (Betty 4) and Sara Stewart (Betty 1) lead the all-female company, directed by Charlie Parham, along with Lucy McCormick (Betty 2), Beatriz Romilly (Betty 3) and Genesis Lynea (Betty 5). Royal Family Productions, a non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will present a benefit staging of a new series of monologues entitled WOMEN ON FIRE: Stories from the Frontlines, written, curated, and directed by Royal Family artistic director Chris Henry from stories told to her by a group of anonymous women, with choreography from Lorna Ventura.
