Penobscot Theatre Company's Dramatic Academy has announced Northern Writes Junior, a playwriting contest for Maine youths ages 4-18. Winning entries will receive full productions via a weekend festival in the Spring as part of the Dramatic Academy 20/21 season. No experience is necessary to submit a play.

Zoon has shared their remix of Whoop-Szo's 'Cut Your Hair' off the Warrior Down LP. The song was premiered by Beats Per Minute praising, 'Monkman sought to alter the basic DNA of WHOOP-Szo's “Cut Your Hair” by infusing it with a compelling ambient pulse and pulling apart its roughhewn acoustic framework before casting it out into a gauzy atmosphere of roiling tones and vocal textures. It's a mesmerizing experience as these subsuming sounds gather around and drown out the chaos of the outside world, letting us revel completely in the beautiful noise that we're hearing.

Signature Theatre has worked with their sponsors Amazon and Max Productions and their partners at The Anthem and have announced that they have been able to reschedule the performances to next summer, June 24 - July 3, 2021.

The Old Globe today announced that it is moving the productions in its 2020 Summer Season to the summer of 2021, although exact dates have not been settled upon.
