The Public Theater recently announced that Louis Cancelmi, last seen as Caliban in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest, had stepped into the company of Troilus and Cressida as Achilles, replacing David Harbour, who suffered an injury during previews and will be unable to complete the run. The play celebrates its opening tonight, August 9, after a short delay.

Walnut Street Theatre's 2015-2016 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with one of Eugene O'Neill's greatest dramatic works, A Moon for the Misbegotten. Philadelphia audiences will be the first to see this production before it becomes the sixth national tour of a Walnut Street Theatre production. Directed by Kate Galvin, the production begins previews in Philadelphia on January 12th, opens January 14th and continues through February 7th.

Bram Stoker's Dracula has been a mainstay at Actors Theatre of Louisville (ATL) since 1995, and has become identified with actor/director William McNulty, who eight years ago was invited to forge his own adaptation of the horror classic. The result only intensified audience demand and acceptance, and the play now stands as the second holiday perennial (with A Christmas Carol) for Louisville's highly acclaimed regional theatre. Gobodo-Madikizela is a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission determined to understand his actions. She questions de Kock, who is sentenced to two life terms plus 212 years for crimes against humanity, murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, assault, kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and fraud.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Eve Best will star as 'Anna' and Olivier Award nominee Kelly Reilly will star as 'Kate' opposite Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee Clive Owen as 'Deeley' in Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th anniversary season production of Old Times by Harold Pinter, directed by Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge.

The Public Theater announced additional casting today for the 2015 Free Shakespeare in the Park season, beginning Wednesday, May 27 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. This summer will feature Shakespeare's late romances with THE TEMPEST, directed by Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and CYMBELINE, directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan. Jesse Tyler Ferguson will return to the Park this summer as Trinculo in THE TEMPEST, along with Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe teaming up again with Daniel Sullivan on CYMBELINE to play Posthumus Leonatus/Cloten and Imogen, respectively.

Renowned Ulster playwright Stewart Parker's Spokesong - which won him the Evening Standard Award for Most Promising Playwright - opens at the Finborough Theatre for a limited run of nine Sunday, Monday and Tuesday performances from Sunday, 25 May 2014 (Press Night: Monday, 26 May 2014)
