As announced previously, the cast of the November 29th Concert of Stephen Schwartz's PIPPIN will include a choir of 80, full orchestra and several Broadway notables. The concert will take place at The Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom at 311 West 34th Street (at 34th and 8th Avenue) at 7PM.

Joshua Henry was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for The Scottsboro Boys in 2011. He made his Broadway debut in In the Heights. The season opens with Jonathan Larson's tick, tick... BOOM!, June 25 - 28, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karen Olivo, directed by Oliver Butler, and continues with a one-night only performance of Randy Newman's Faust: The Concert, with Randy Newman as the Devil, directed by Thomas Kail, on July 1. Pump Boys and Dinettes, with book, music and lyrics by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel and Jim Wann , directed by Lear deBessonet and choreographed by Danny Mefford, wraps up the season, running July 16 - 19. Chris Fenwick is the Encores! Off-Center music director.

Anika Noni Rose has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for A RAISIN IN THE SUN. Anika Noni Rose won a Tony Award in 2004 as Best Featured Actress in a Musical in Caroline, or Change. She also performed on Broadway in Footloose and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Rose's film appearances include Dreamgirls and The Princess and the Frog.

It was announced today that the new Broadway musical Doctor Zhivago, which opened at the Broadway Theatre on April 21st, 2015, will record its cast album on Thursday, May 28th, 2015. Doctor Zhivago authors include composer Lucy Simon (The Secret Garden), lyricists Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) and Amy Powers (the two multi-platinum Sunset Boulevard hits) and book writer Michael Weller (screenwriter for Hair and Ragtime). The Broadway cast recording will be released by Broadway Records on July 31st, 2015 and can be pre-ordered by visiting http://www.broadwayrecords.com/cds/doctorzhivago.
