After the rock musical NEXT TO NORMAL, JAKARTA YOUTH FOR PERFORMING ARTS (JYPA) set their eyes on the high school horror CARRIE: THE MUSICAL. CARRIE will run on 17 and 18 January, 2020 at GEDUNG KESENIAN JAKARTA theater. The production is licensed through Rodgers & Hammerstein Theatricals.

Awarded the Moliére Award for her performance as Sally Bowles in 'Cabaret' in Paris, Ute Lemper decided to write a postcard to legendary Hollywod icon Marlene Dietrich, who was also living in the French capital, to apologise for all the media attention that had hailed Ute as a new star and compared the youngster to the legendary icon.

Next week, Atlanta audiences get to witness a superstar take the stage with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Literary adaptations, a Shakespearian classic, and appearances by award-winning Hollywood stars highlight the vibrant National Theatre Live programming scheduled to light up the cinema screen at Gettysburg College's Majestic Theater during the 2019-2020 season. National Theatre Live is a groundbreaking project to broadcast the best of British theater to cinemas around the world, including the Majestic. The new season kicks off September 23. All plays are shown at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

South Coast Repertory Artistic Director David Ivers and Managing Director Paula Tomei today announced the lineup for the 2019 Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF). ITVS announced today that, with four new films premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2019, the organization has now funded and co-produced more than 100 Sundance premieres.
