An exciting group of theatre stars have joined The Jamie Lloyd Company's Pinter at the Pinter season, which began its unprecedented celebration of Harold Pinter this month, featuring all the Nobel Prize winning playwright's short plays.

59E59 Theaters welcomes the world premiere of BERNIE AND MIKEY'S TRIP TO THE MOON written by Scott Aiello and directed Claire Karpen. Produced by Strangemen Theatre Company (The Woodsman), BERNIE AND MIKEY'S TRIP TO THE MOON begins performances on Thursday, November 8 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 2.

Yesterday, fourth year students in Sheridan's renowned Honours Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance program began workshopping four new musicals as part of the Canadian Music Theatre Project (CMTP), an international centre of excellence for the development of new musicals at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario.

The Green Room 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - will present Nathan Lee Graham, the singular Grammy Award winning performer from Zoolander, HBO's "The Comeback," Broadway's Priscilla and more, in the world premiere of his first evening of all theater music "All Things Bright and Beautiful: A Sondheim Salon" on Thursday, October 11 at 7:00 PM. From the dramatic ballads of Follies to the comedic highlights of Forum, Graham will perform a vividly creative cross-section of the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer's most beloved creations. After a whirlwind year in which Graham was nominated for a Lucile Lortel Award for the hit Off Broadway musical The View UpStairs to starring in the Fox TV series "LA to Vegas" opposite Dylan McDermott, Graham will present a romantic, 19th Century-style evening featuring songs such as "Loving You," "Bounce" and "Being Alive." He will be joined by musical director Tracy Stark on piano with Peter Calo on guitar. 

In what promises to be an exciting event within the Pinter at the Pinter season, Lee Evans will appear in an eclectic mixed bill alongside stage and screen favourite Meera Syal. They join the previously announced Keith Allen and Tamsin Greig from 25th October to 8th December, for 23 performances only.

Some of the country's most exciting young stars - Jessica Barden, Kate O'Flynn, Hayley Squires, Luke Thallon and Russell Tovey have joined the highly-anticipated Harold Pinter season Pinter at the Pinter, together with the legendary Sir Antony Sher and Penelope Wilton.

Daniel Schumann, Lee Dean and Cambridge Arts Theatre in association with Birmingham Repertory Theatre today announce John Stahl (Big Ger Cafferty) and Cathy Tyson (Siobhan Clarke) will join Charles Lawson (John Rebus) in Rebus: Long Shadows, a brand new Rebus story written exclusively for the stage by author of the original novels, Ian Rankin and playwright Rona Munro. This holiday season, Wynn Las Vegas will unveil The Holiday Show, its first-ever seasonal production. Created and directed by Philip Wm. McKinley with choreography by Marguerite Derricks, who were both most recently involved in the reimagination of Wynn Las Vegas' award-winning production Le Reve - The Dream, this musical production combines a score of holiday hits like "Santa Baby" and "This Christmas," festive comedy and multi-genre dance numbers that will light up the stage at the intimate Encore Theater Nov. 30 - Dec. 30, 2018. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. PDT.

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production team for the theatre's centennial season production of The Wiz, June 19 - 25. 

The Jamie Lloyd Company, Ambassador Theatre Group, Benjamin Lowy Productions, Gavin Kalin Productions and Glass Half Full Productions present an extraordinary season of Harold Pinter's one-act plays on the tenth anniversary of the Nobel Prize winner's death, performed in the theatre that bears his name.

The Muny announced today that Grammy Award-winner Nathan Lee Graham will play the title role in The Wiz. Starring alongside Graham will be Jared Grimes as Scarecrow, Mykal Kilgore as Lion and James T. Lane as Tinman. In its first Muny staging in 36 years, The Wiz is the second production of the historic outdoor theatre's centennial season. The Wiz is directed by Denis Jones and choreographed by Camille A. Brown with music direction by Darryl Archibald. The Wiz is proudly sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors.

Initial casting has been announced for The Muny's production of THE WIZ - part of their 100th season. Grammy Award winner Nathan Lee Graham will star as The Wizard, Jared Grimes will portray the scarecrow, Mykal Kilgore will ring to life the Lion, and James T. The York Theatre Company presents the New York premiere of the new musical Unexpected Joy, with book and lyrics by Bill Russell (Side Show) and music by Janet Hood (Elegies for Angels, Punks, and Raging Queens).

Due to demand, The New Group has announced a three-week extension for Jerry Springer - The Opera, with Matt McGrath appearing as Jerry Springer beginning March 13.  Terrence Mann, currently appearing in the role of Jerry Springer, plays his final performance March 11 due to an existing commitment beyond that date.

Booking for the summer season at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough opens on Monday 19 February. The season opens in June with the hilarious adaptation of John Buchan's The 39 Steps that has played to packed houses in both the West End and Broadway - but started life in North Yorkshire.
