Pace University's School of Performing Arts (PPA) welcomed 176 star freshmen to their graduating class of 2022. The school received a record number of applications this year from six continents with over 3,700 hopefuls vying for a spot at the innovative performing arts school. Applications from the United States were received from 49 states as well as Puerto Rico.

Theatr Clwyd today announces full cast for its Christmas pantomime, Dick Whittington - The Purrrrrfect Rock 'N' Roll Panto. Zoe Waterman directs Royce Cronin (King Rhydian the Rat), Toby Falla (Tomos the Cat), Phylip Harries (Sarah the Cook), Daniel Lloyd (Wally Fitzwarren), Alice McKenna (Scratch/Harriet), Peter Mooney (Dick Whittington), Lynwen Haf Roberts (Sultana), Emmy Stonelake (Alice Fitzwarren), Luke Thornton (Sniff/Tom/Guard) and Anna Westlake (Fairy Betty Bowbells). The production opens at Theatr Clwyd on 27 November, with previews from 23 November, and runs until 19 January 2019.

This marks the third season of this groundbreaking company for early-career actors producing theater for social change. New Village Arts announces its second New Play Festival, FINAL DRAFT, scheduled for January 3-6, 2019. This year's festival will feature plays by local playwrights Aleta Barthell, Dea Hurston, Karen Riehl, Roy Sekigahama and a full-length musical by Blake McCarty and Trevor Bachman. Selections were decided from an open submission pool of over 80 new plays and musicals and a five-person readership panel.

But after seeing a woman willing to die for her books he begins to have an intense personal struggle about these books and what they might contain that is so dangerous. Written just after World War II, and in the same vein as Animal Farm and 1984, Fahrenheit 451 will thrill you and chill you. Important to note right from the start ... Jeff Goode wrote The Eight: Reindeer Monologues back in the early 1990s around the time of the Clinton administration. The vehicle was his way of speaking out on a number of political issues. Maybe the sex scandal of Bill Clinton? Taking Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who are revered as two of the most benevolent fantasy characters of all time, and gossiping about their bouts with sexual harrassment and alcoholism, turns them into pretty despicable people. But when you are that good and held up as a model of perfection, something's gotta give. Everyone has flaws, and Goode has his reindeer take them to the extreme.
