Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's beloved film, WAITRESS tells the story of Jenna. A waitress and expert pie maker, Jenna dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage. A baking contest in a nearby county and the town's new doctor may offer her a chance at a fresh start, while her fellow waitresses offer their own recipes for happiness. But Jenna must summon the strength and courage to rebuild her own life.

Paramount continues to provide world-class entertainment—including dance, music, Broadway-caliber theatre, and children’s programming—for an annual audience of 350,000 patrons from over 250 communities. Over 40,000 of those patrons are proud to be Paramount Broadway Series subscribers. In addition, we’ve expanded operations with the recently-opened Paramount School of the Arts and are currently in the process of renovating Copley Theatre for our upcoming Bold Series, a provocative new theater adventure.
