Past Tony winners Anika Noni Rose and Matthew Broderick announced the 2011 Tony Awards nominees live from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts in New York City.

TVGuide.com has confirmed that Broadway's Judith Light will be featured in a recurring role in the second season of TNT's DALLAS. According to the report, the actress will portray, 'an authoritative and controlling battle-ax who will fight to the death to protect the people she loves.'

T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre (Terry Schreiber and Peter Jensen, Co-Artistic Directors) announced today that it will host a Salute to New York Theatre to honor a trio of New York theatre luminaries on Monday, November 12th, starting at 6:00 pm at the Maritime Hotel (363 West 16th Street at 9th Avenue). Primary Stages Einhorn School of Performing Arts (ESPA), the company's professional training school, has announced its Fall 2012 schedule of classes now open for enrollment. ESPA will offer new classes including Comedy Writing, Advanced Libretto and Lyric Writing and Dialects 2: Russian. ESPA will also be offering two new workshops: Writing for TV: Making the Transition from Stage to Screen and The Pilot.
