Join Rose, June and Louise in their trip across the United States during the 1920’s, when vaudeville was dying and burlesque was born. Mama Rose is determined that her younger daughter June will have a successful career, but after June elopes, Mama turns all her attention on her older, less talented daughter, Louise. Loosely based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee, the famous striptease artist, and her mother, Rose, the ultimate show business mother, this is a gripping story of one of the most frightening aspects of show business.
