Hundreds of lovers of new theatre will gather this August for an advance look at tomorrow's hits at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley's 20th Anniversary New Works Festival. This unique festival returns to Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre with its extraordinary opportunity for audiences to experience new plays and musicals in their early stages of development and see their evolution over multiple performances.
San Francisco Playhouse will present the World Premiere of Cashed Out by Native American playwright Claude Jackson, Jr. Cashed Out will perform January 26 – February 25, 2023 (opening night: February 1) at San Francisco Playhouse.
This Fall, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will present the 19th Annual New Works Festival, providing Bay Area theatre lovers an advance look at tomorrow’s hits. The festival runs November 6-13, 2022 at Montalvo Arts Center.
Theatre Rhinoceros will present the West Coast premiere of Bad Hombres by Guillermo Reyes, directed by River Bermudez Sanders, and performed by Rudy Guerrero, October 6 - 30, 2022.
Audiences worldwide have one final week to stream Utopia, the wildly inventive premiere from Obie Award winning playwright Charles L. Mee, presented by San Francisco's Cutting Ball Theater.
The Marsh announces the line-up for its first-ever digital global festival, MarshStream International Solo Fest, presenting performers aged 16 to 79 from across the nation and around the world, including Russia, Scotland, Israel, Canada, and Australia, as well as some of The Marsh's fan-favorites in a four day online marathon of 51 global works.
