ABOUT THE SHOW: Part of the 2022 San Diego International Fringe Festival. "Mixed Race Sweetie" is a solo comedy show about a sweet idiot's journey to find a racial identity of his own. Can you find one? How do you find one? Is it even worth finding one? The answer, like his ethnicity, is ambiguous, baby!Written and performed by Mike Lane (half-Chinese, half-Irish), "Mixed Race Sweetie" features stand up, personal stories and songs that explore growing up mixed race Asian, dealing with grief and obsessing with early 2000s pop punk.Recent 2021 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE "PICK OF THE FEST" and SF SKETCHFEST feature.ABOUT THE ARTIST: Mike is an LA based comedian who has recently appeared on Yes Day (Netflix), The Unicorn (Hulu) and Modern Family (ABC). With the sketch group BOAT, he has performed at Montreal Just For Laughs, SF Sketchfest, the UCB Theater and was a Comedy Central Comic to Watch. He was also in a ska band once.
