Who better to tell the story of teenage love than two teenagers themselves? Inspired by real-life experiences, this story of sisters Christie and Madeline navigates the complicated world of relationships between young-adults. As polar opposites, Christie sees the world through rose-colored glasses, while Madeline is jaded, seeing the world for all its flaws. The madly talented cello-player, Wes, charms his way into both girls' lives, causing a rift between the sisters. Set to the tune of original, contemporary folk music, this story resonates with people of all ages-- after all, the pangs of young love and all the drama that comes with it, is universal.
We will be premiering at the San Diego Fringe Festival this summer in the 5th Floor Arts Incubator at Spreckels Theater! Come join us July 5, 7, 8 at 8pm and July 9 at 6:30 and 8pm.
