The French Riviera shimmers with laughter and high jinks in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," a musical brimming with infectious tunes and witty lyrics. Sophisticated conman Lawrence Jameson, accustomed to charming wealthy women out of their fortunes, clashes with Freddy Benson, a brash American who cons women with sob stories. Their uneasy coexistence in this lucrative territory leads to a winner-take-all bet: whoever cons Christine Colgate, a young heiress, out of $50,000 first gets to stay.
