William Franklin has always struggled to be his own man. It’s difficult to find your own way when your father is Benjamin Franklin: the greatest scientific mind in the world, inventor of the lightning rod and the urinary catheter and the glass harmonica and bifocal glasses and, in his spare time, the United States of America. This hilarious new comedy explores this father-son dynamic through the decades, from that pivotal experiment with a singular kite, to the birth of a country.
