This Opera stands out from all the heritage of Verdi. The composer managed to lay into it and the drama and vocal delights. He used the vocals and music to express dramatic situations, and making stuff as compact as possible. Emotions arise here and now, the situation is being deployed rapidly, requiring performers to stage an instant reaction.

We considered a few options of Verdi, but settled on Othello-dramaturgi?eski is built Opera compared to what was created by composer early. Verdi very detailed worked on the libretto by deleting all secondary for his concept of the line, leaving only concentrated the relationships of several characters. "Othello" is similar to what the composer wrote above, this is not the Verdi, whom we know from "La Traviata" and "Aida." My goal as a filmmaker is to convey the inner tension that occurs between the heroes of this opera. However, no matter what I did, constantly catch myself a message can not find the equivalent expression in a stage-like its upscale, add something else. But then comes the understanding that all the magic of this Opera is in the simplicity and foremost reflected in attitudes, is born of misunderstanding, or-and this raises the voltage.

Today, the "Othello" cannot just be a beautiful picture-it must be meaningful, and not simple, and the sacred. In another way, because the audience sitting in the Hall, everyone can see, hear and feel the skin. Fortunately, at the Opera House is still perhaps the most direct impact on the audience!
