Small-town, U.S.A. A bygone era. Meredith Willson’s THE MUSIC MAN JR tells the story of a charismatic travelling salesman as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boy's band he vows to organize - despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef! His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for the town's librarian who changes him for the better. By turns wicked, funny, warm, and touching, THE MUSIC MAN JR is family entertainment at its best! This award-winning and critically acclaimed Broadway classic is an all-American institution.
