For five days - from 27 to 31 May - the French Alliance of Lima opens its doors to freely enjoy the different trends, styles and proposals of young designers who are immersed in this adventure with original and innovative meetings inspired under the thematic axis of "Kaleidoscope"; alongside them will accompany us four talented designers international Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador and France, sharing his experience with Peruvian eight contestants, exchanging ideas and inspirations...
For this 10th Edition, the French Alliance, based on the analysis of the results obtained in these years, believes that it has reached a stage of maturation and redefinition of the main objective: the promotion and training of the new talents in the fashion industry. In this context, some modifications have been made: the first; delete categories, and thus the label designers, capabilities, processes, paths and results. A second change is that, for this Edition, are eight selected participants. All passed through a rigorous selection process which sought not only a great potential, but the commitment and interest in the development of a coherent and articulated collection with the market. In order to achieve this result, the French Alliance was proposed to develop projects in the hands of the participants through a process of tutorials, by renowned designers, which were supplemented with a series of trainings in specific competences aimed at the inclusion of these projects in the industry of fashion (construction of identity(, marco administrative - legal, communication of fashion, etc.). Finally, the internationalisation and inclusion in a global circuit of communication that has been one of the priorities; for this purpose have been generated strategic alliances with institutions in South America as well as the prestigious International Festival of fashion and photography of Hyères (France), thus having the possibility of presenting the collections of different invited designers, generating thus an Exchange with our participating designers.
