Romanza began its activities with a choral symphonic concert dedicated to the best-known compositions of the Spanish lyric in the National Grand Theater, Thursday, may 8, at 8: 00 pm pm., site, Av. Javier Prado Este No. 2225 San Borja.

Lovesong will present a selection of passages from la Vida Breve, the Composer Manuel de Falla opera, premiered in 1914 in Paris at this concert and whose centenary is commemorated this year. Orchestral conduction will be in charge of the young Spanish director Oliver Díaz, head of the Symphony Orchestra of Gijón and the Barbieri Symphony Orchestra. It will be also as special guest the famous and very beloved by the Lima public soprano Milagros Martín, who has in his repertoire this title of la Vida Breve. It will also participate in this selection our Josefina Brivio mezzo-soprano, whose artistic Prestige has allowed great international successes. Romanza also presents new lyrical values such as Israel Díaz tenor and baritone Luis Asmat.

In this part of the programme will participate the choir city of Lima, which usually accompanies the artistic activities of romance, as well as the Symphonic Orchestra city of Lima.

After the selection of la Vida Breve, the concert has included a space dedicated to the Spanish lyric song which will be headed by the soprano Milagros Martín, who will be performing three popular songs by Manuel de Falla; three tonadillas by Enrique Granados (stippling and the tra the, the shy majo and the maja de goya) and two songs by Gimenez: mountains of granada with choral accompaniment and the famous and very liked the tarantula is a bug, which is very bad.

Finally this concert includes one of the most beautiful and most reputable worldwide musical expressions, the Peruvian guitarist is CONCIERTO ARANJUEZ for guitar and Orchestra by the composer Joaquín Rodrigo, with participation as invited soloist María Luisa Harth Bedoya, who resides in Argentina, piece which is part of the standard repertoire and which has allowed it to reap great international successes.
