The central argument of the play is a delicate, controversial topic and rarely addressed: menopause. This stage that inevitably happens in the life of all women, brings with it many taboos and many wrong beliefs.All this serves as inspiration for AKALORADAS, that allow to display with ease all the truths about menopause, as well as new perspectives that are presented to women at this stage.
AKALORADAS will enable the Viewer to learn all about this stage, entertaining tone of comedy, but with a background of reflection. Based on that, their husbands, sons and other members of his entourage, may better understand them and know how to treat them, join them... and also to support them.
